Muay Thai
The martial art of Muay Thai, originating in Thailand, has become more and more popular as Mixed Martial Arts has exploded across the country. However, X3 Sports instructors have been training and teaching Muay Thai well before the MMA boom.
Whether you want to train in Muay Thai for competition or simply to learn the martial art, our expert instructors will help you reach your goals. X3 Sports Muay Thai classes can be taken as an individual discipline or as part of our Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) training program.
About X3 Sports Muay Thai
Muay Thai, also referred to as Thai Boxing, is known as "The Science of Eight Limbs", as the hands, shins, elbows, and knees are all used extensively in this art. A Muay Thai fighter thus has the ability to execute strikes using eight points of contact, as opposed to two points (fists) in Western boxing and four points (fists, feet) used in the primarily sport-oriented forms of martial arts.
Two convenient Atlanta locations
X3 Sports offers Muay Thai classes at Atlanta locations in both Marietta and Midtown. Sign up to try out a complimentary one-hour class and experience the great workout for yourself.
